O1 Standard was judged Best Management Company of the year in two nominations at this year’s Green Property Awards in Moscow. The Company collected first prizes for Property Management and also for Facility Management.
The Green Property Awards recognise environmental work by companies in the commercial real estate industry (both developers and managers). The award ceremony for this year’s winners took place on September 30.
O1 Standard currently provides property and facility management at 23 sites with total space in excess of one million square metres, including Moscow landmarks such as the White Square, Aurora and Ducat Place III business centres. Properties added to the Company portfolio in 2021 include the SkyLight and Legenda business centres as well as the serviced office centres, Space 1 Mercury and Space 1 Balchug. O1 Standard is the Russian leader by the number of green assets under management and total space at those assets.
International environmental certification to the BREEAM standard has been obtained for 12 of the sites managed by the Company. Performance of O1 Standard has been independently assessed under both BREEAM part 1 (technical features of the building) and part 2 (building management). Two of the Company’s buildings (the iCUBE and LeFORT business centres) are included in the BREEAM database, which contains the world’s best examples of environmental certification.
In August 2021, O1 Standard successfully completed the first certification in Russia to the international Fitwel standard for buildings: Space 1 Balchug was awarded the highest possible three-star rating.
Starting this year O1 Standard is developing its own expertise for the provision of environmental certification to the BREEAM and FitWell standards. The expertise will enable the Company to offer certification services to external clients and to constantly improve and update management policies and practices at its facilities.
