O1 Standard was named Best Property Management Company at this year’s Arendator Awards in Moscow. As the foremost professional event of the year in the Russian real estate industry, the Arendator Awards highlight best companies and best commercial real estate projects from all regions of Russia. The awards ceremony was held on October 5.
O1 Standard currently has 23 properties under management with total space in excess of one million square metres, including some of the best-known business centres in Moscow (White Square, Aurora, Vivaldi Plaza, Stanislavsky Factory, Ducat Place III), as well as flexible offices under the Space 1 brand.
O1 Standard is committed to bringing the philosophy and practice of the hospitality industry to business centre management, modeling its approach on the customer care offered by international 5-star hotel chains. Since 2020 the Company has carried out quarterly audits of performance by its own staff and surveys of tenant satisfaction. Results of these studies have been used to design a B2C program, focused on meeting needs of the staff of tenant companies and enhancing their experience of the building. Work is underway on IT solutions to support the program (including a marketplace of services to end-users, contactless access to the office, etc.).
O1 Standard is keen to reduce environmental footprint at the business centres it manages and has motivated tenants to support its environmental initiatives. Tenant companies are acting to reduce their resource consumption, carry out separate waste collection, and introduce “green office” practices. Office staff are also encouraged to rethink daily routines to be more in tune with the environment. Managers of O1 Standard are now preparing to certify the management system to ISO 14001 (environmental management).
O1 Standard kept all of its sites operational through the 2020 pandemic while ensuring observance of measures to prevent spread of the COVID virus. Good communication with tenants made it easier for employees to return safely to their offices in the post-pandemic period.
