On October 26, Moscow hosted the Federal Development Forum, which was traditionally attended by government officials, developers and banks, as well as property owners from all over Russia and the CIS countries.

Commercial director of O1 Standard Alla Tigner spoke at a session dedicated to commercial real estate “How to act under the new market conditions?” The agenda included the adaptation of the commercial real estate market to the current economic situation and the prospects for the development of the office industry in 2023.

In her speech Alla stated that one of the key emphases of O1 Standard’s operations in 2022 was the promotion of projects that aim to improve its professional employees’ competencies and nurture an internal talent pool in the face of a staff shortage. A separate block of discussions dealt with the relevance of the green agenda in the current market situation. On behalf of the company, Alla expressed O1 Standard’s readiness to promote sustainable development values and environmental efficiency standards in the management and operation of commercial real estate.

O1 Standard takes an active part in the development of the CLEVER national standard for assessing buildings’ environmental performance.

O1 Standard became the Management Company of the Year in two categories: “Property Management” and “Facility Management” at the Green Property Awards 2022. It is the first award in the field of commercial real estate to determine the best properties in Russia that meet high environmental efficiency standards, as well as the best management companies that operate “green” facilities.

The Green Property Awards ceremony took place on October 20.

As of today, O1 Standard’s property management and facility management portfolio includes 25 facilities with a total area of over 1,300,000 sq.m., including such iconic complexes as the White Square, Iskra-Park and Bolshevik business centers, Space 1 Balchug, and Ducat Place III. Fourteen of the company’s facilities are certified in accordance with environmental performance standards. O1 Standard continuously adheres to sustainable business principles in the management and operation of commercial real estate. At the moment, the company is undergoing ISO 14001 environmental management system certification. Environmental practices are being actively implemented at all the facilities managed by O1 Standard; in addition, the company is conducting environmental campaigns and promoting environmental education within the framework of the Green One tenant club.
